National Lawn Care Franchise Honors Stephen Hillenmeyer Landscape Services with Multi-Unit Franchisee of the Year and Marketing Performance Awards
Weed Man USA, a fast-growing national lawn care franchise, has named Weed Man Lexington and Nashville as the company’s 2016 Multi-Unit and Market Performance award winners. The Weed Man Lexington and Nashville franchises are owned by Lexington-based Stephen Hillenmeyer Landscape Services.
Weed Man USA presented the awards at the company’s annual conference in December. The Multi-Unit Franchisee of the Year award recognized Hillenmeyer’s excellence in business management and franchise citizenship while operating multiple franchise units. The Lexington and Nashville offices were also the recipients of two separate Marketing Performance awards for the $750,000 – $1.5 million and over $1.5 million categories.
“Chase and Seth Hillenmeyer, along with their father, Stephen, have demonstrated consistent growth while expanding Weed Man into new markets,” said Jennifer Lemcke, COO of Weed Man and Turf Holdings, Inc. “The Hillenmeyers recently celebrated 175 years of operating their family landscaping business in Central Kentucky which is a remarkable accomplishment. Stephen, fifth generation business owner of Stephen Hillenmeyer Landscape Services, added Weed Man of Lexington in 2003. Chase joined the company in 2006 and Seth in 2013. The brothers manage the day-to-day operations of Weed Man Lexington as well as the recently added Nashville location. Since taking the helm, the two locations combined have surpassed $3 million in sales.
